At the base of the dark grey glass panel columns, the Memorial is composed of triangular panels of dark grey glass, black granite and dark gray granite. On the black granite panels, inscribed with stainless steel lettering, are the names of the 146 victims who perished and in the inscription:
“The fire at the Triangle Waist Company, claimed the lives of 146 young immigrant workers, and one of the worst disasters since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.
